What’s the Issue with the Lincoln MKC?

The Lincoln MKC, known for its sleek design and luxurious features, has recently been flagged for a potential issue involving the engine coolant system. 🛠️ According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), certain models may experience a coolant leak from the engine, which could lead to a loss of coolant and potentially cause the engine to overheat. This is not only a concern for performance but also for safety, as overheating can lead to engine damage or even a fire hazard. 🔥

Which Models Are Affected?

The recall primarily affects Lincoln MKC vehicles from the 2015 to 2017 model years. 📅 If your MKC falls within this range, it’s crucial to check if your specific vehicle is part of the recall. The easiest way to do this is by visiting the NHTSA website and entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Alternatively, you can contact your local Lincoln dealership, who can provide you with detailed information and assistance. 📞

This is a free service provided under the recall program, so there’s no need to worry about unexpected expenses. 💸

While waiting for your appointment, it’s a good idea to monitor your coolant levels regularly and be vigilant for any signs of leakage, such as puddles under your car or unusual smells. If you notice anything suspicious, don’t hesitate to pull over and have your vehicle checked immediately. Safety should always be your top priority. 🛡️
